MXTRMOM (JB) has drawn their whole life but only recently has begun to have the confidence to share their work and learn more about using pastels and painting.

JB describes their approach to visual art as both personal and casual, as their interest in art is related to both their boundless creativity and their OCD-influenced need for perfection. The subject of their work often focuses on struggling with mental health, their connection with queerness, and their feelings of being an outsider.

 "Although the war of life is constant, I find release in creating art and connecting with people and appreciate how art has led me to collaborate with others who struggle with similar battles."
